Full Time, Permanent

Pay:

• $25- 40+/hr (let us know your desired rate!)

Hours:

• 7AM- 5PM
• Monday – Friday
• Periodic Saturdays, if required
• 40+ hours during spring/ summer
• 30-35 hours during winter

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair or replace built-up commercial roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
• Install, repair or replace single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
• Install, repair or replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
• Install sheet metal flashings
• Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
• Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Flat Roofer is required
• Comfortable with working in outdoor conditions, year round
• Must have a reliable means of transportation

Elite Jobs is looking for a Flat Roofer in Kitchener, Ontario! The ideal candidate is someone who has a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Commercial Flat Roofer. The payrate is based on experience, therefore kindly let us know what your desired rate is. Additionally, employees are enrolled in an excellent benefits program. Secondly, the hours are Monday to Friday; typical start is 6:30AM- 7AM. The work day is anticipated to end at 5PM, depending on the workload. During the warmer months, employees are guaranteed over 40 hours per week. Alternatively, during the winter months, hours per week are between 30 to 35 hours.

Lastly, aside from being skilled; the ideal candidate must be reliable, hard- working, personable and willing to grow with the company, long term.
