Pay Rate:
- $31.82/hr plus shift premium of 0.95/ hour for Afternoon shifts and Night Shifts
- $32.77/hr for night shift

Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting, fixing mechanical problems, and set up of equipment.
- Perform all maintenance on plant equipment in a safe manner; ensure machines are clean and in good working order.
- Perform major and minor adjustments to equipment in a reasonable timeframe.
- Maintain a variety of mechanical equipment both corrective and preventative maintenance.
- Perform equipment/ system improvements as well as research and test new equipment, complete all maintenance record keeping.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid 443A Millwright license.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with mechanical, electrical; including setup, adjustments and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of the mechanical and electrical components of equipment used in a bakeshop and packaging departments.
- Knowledge of shop tools such as milling machines, lathes, grinders, drilling machines and welding.
- Flexible to move between shifts to meet department requirements.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic or Industrial Millwright in North York, Ontario! The candidate must possess a 443A Millwright license and have 3 years minimum experience in a bakery or similar manufacturing environment. The shift is a Nigh shift running from 10PM- 6:30PM, Sunday to Thursday. With the shift premium, the payrate is $32.77/hr. After the 90 day probationary period; the Millwright will have access to group benefits and perks such as tool and safety shoe allowance. Additional safety training is provided such as Fall Arrest and Lock Out Tag Out.
Secondly, the ideal candidate will have exceptional attendance record, and ability to pay attention to small details. An excellent work safety record on the technical side is also important. The candidate must be flexible to move between shifts to meet department requirements and have good written and oral communication.
