Full Time, Permanent

Payrate of a Secretary:

  • $45,000/ year


  • 9AM – 5PM
  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexible hours


  • Front desk duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, transferring lines, and greeting clients.
  • Manage office supply inventory as needed.
  • File documentation in appropriate areas.
  • Other administrative duties, as necessary.


  • Must have some experience as a Secretary or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Job Summary

Elite Jobs is looking for a Secretary in Oakville, Ontario! The Secretary will be working at an accounting firm, being the main point of contact. In this role, the candidate is expected to represent the company in a positive manner. That includes, greeting clients and directing them to the appropriate person. Answering phone calls, transferring lines correctly as well as scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate will be proficient in computers and comfortable in using programs such as Microsoft Suite. The candidate will also maintain strong organizational skills, especially when filing documents. Candidates must be comfortable with moving files in between office floors.

Lastly, the ideal candidate will be punctual, personable and approachable. It is important that all employees create lasting relationships with clients as well as co- workers. This position is very important as it sets the tone for a fantastic customer service experience for clients which in turn, drives business satisfaction.
