Full Time, Permanent
Pay Rate:
$15 – 30/HR (based on experience)
Hours:
8AM – 5PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair on vehicles.
- Diagnose malfunctions on vehicles.
- Examine vehicles and determine if additional service work is required.
Requirements
- Must either be a 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year 310S Apprentice OR 310S certified.
- Possessing own basic hand tools is an asset, but not a requirement.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Mechanic that is looking for a long- term opportunity with a reputable Auto shop. The hours are 8AM until 5PM, Monday to Friday.
Firstly, the ideal candidate for this position will be someone who is determined to resolve vehicle related issues. Additionally, they must also be aware of how to resolve the issues at hand. To add, they must also be forward thinking in doing so. We are open to hiring Apprentices, as well as fully licensed 310S Journeymen. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical capabilities and a passion for the industry.
The candidate will be comfortable with diagnosing, inspecting, maintaining and repairing vehicles seamlessly. The Mechanic will need to work well under pressure, and perform servicing in a reasonable amount of time. Also, they must have strong problem solving skills.
The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and have strong customer service skills. Being able to create a lasting professional relationship with the customer is a crucial aspect of continued business.
