Responsibilities:
- General labour duties in the warehouse shipping/ receiving department.
- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or counterbalance forklift.
- Assembling and preparing boxes for products.
- General housekeeping duties such as sweeping.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Warehouse Associate.
- Must possess valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
- Comfortable with bending, lifting and twisting.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
Job Summary
Firstly, we are looking for a seasoned Shipper/ Receiver in Waterloo, Ontario! The Associate will be working in a warehouse that is responsible for preparing products for shipment. The payrate starts at $18.50 per hour, with lunch provided by the company daily. The hours are also 9AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday.
Secondly, the candidate will be responsible for general labour duties within the shipping and receiving department. The successful candidate will be expected to complete duties such as loading, unloading products; assembling boxes and sweeping. Therefore, the associate must be comfortable with repetitive motions of bending, lifting and twisting. Additionally, the associate must be comfortable lifting products up to 60 pounds to package into boxes. The warehouse facility also has counterbalance forklifts to move the completed shipments. It is required that the warehouse associate has a valid forklift license, in order to operate the tow motors in a safe manner.
Lastly, the ideal candidate must have proven warehouse experience, completing similar roles as stated above. This company is looking for an Associate who is looking for growth, and long- term employment.
